As you may have noticed, the world has been a little bit crazy lately. I’m not sure how new this is to the human experiment, but I do know that whatever problems people were facing 1000 years ago, they sure didn’t have a thing in their pockets reminding them about it every few minutes.

Anyway, I’m not trying to dismiss the troubles. Heck, I’m in Minneapolis. I couldn’t avoid the reality if I tried. But we all need our escapes. For me, I think that might be finding a way to write about the more mundane aspects of life. Not boring, necessarily, but perhaps subjects that have lower stakes.

This has all been just to say that I might start posting some random musings on this website that I realized I still have. Musicians don’t even really need websites anymore – most details are now condensed on a free LinkTree. So why not make this my blog?

Expect some thoughts on music – the local scene, songwriting, nature, dogs… I don’t know, maybe some poems. But nothing too heavy. Probably.
